The
Tecra M5-S433 delivers a balance of on-demand performance, reliability,
and security that is designed to keep business users mobile and productive.
The M5-S433 is powered by the Intel® Core Duo Processor T2400,
which runs at a speed of 1.83 GHz. The processor is complimented by 512
MB of DDR2 677 MHz SDRAM. All of this performance is condensed into a
package that weighs no more than six pounds.
Although the weight is small, the screen is not. The M5-S433 has a 14.1"
diagonal TFT active-matrix LCD, which displays crisp and clear images
at native resolution of 1024x768. This screen is perfect for watching
DVDs with the DVD SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) drive, that is capable
of supporting eleven different formats, including CD-RW and DVD-RAM. Graphics
are run by the NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 110M video card, which has 128 MB
of DDR discrete graphics memory.
The M5-S433 can deliver great audio input and output with its stereo speakers,
SigmaTel STAC9200 24-bit stereo software sound, sound volume control dial,
and a built-in microphone. The notebook has an Integrated Intel PRO/Wireless
Network Connection 3945ABG, which allows it to pick up Internet signals
from hot spots on the go. In addition, the M5-S433 provides plenty of
connectivity options for peripherals. It features three USB 2.0 ports,
one Firewire port, and one serial port.
The combination of performance, design, and security makes the Tecra M5-S433
the perfect option for busy people on the go, such as business professionals
or students. The notebook is light enough to take anywhere, but durable
enough to withstand some bumps along the way.
