Review Specifications Compare Prices

The Toshiba Satellite P105-S921 successfully blends affordability with very good gaming performance. This is made possible thanks to nVidia's GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics chip. This Satellite model features 17-inch TruBrite screen, along with blue LEDs which surround the Harman Kardon speakers. In dim lighting conditions, the notebook's touch pad also lights up in a cool blue hue when tapped, which reveals illuminated icons for changing the volume and opening different applications.

The P105-S921 comes with a built-in fingerprint reader, which allows you to access online accounts such as MySpace and Flickr with a swipe of your finger. The P105-S921 also comes with a number keypad, along with DVD-playback control buttons (Play, Stop, FWD, RWD) and instant-on buttons for accessing music and movies without booting Microsoft Windows. The notebook provides plenty of options for storage, including a 160 GB hard drive and a DVD burner.

The entire unit is powered by T2400 (1.83GHz) Intel Core Duo processor. This processor has become the standard for mobile laptops that deliver superior performances. The only downside to the P105-S921 is the life of its battery. It only provides two hours of power, which means keeping the wall adapter with you the majority of the time is a must.

For any gamer on a budget, the Toshiba Satellite P105-S921 is one of the most affordable gaming notebooks available. It provides solid performance, along with some unique features that make it stand out.
