Toshiba's Satellite M105-S3004 is powered by the Intel Core Duo Processor. The Core Duo runs at a blazing speed of 1.66 GHz, which creates plenty of power for even the most demanding applications. The notebook has a Intel 945GM Express chipset, along with one gigabyte of RAM, which can be upgraded to a full four gigabytes.

The M105-S3004 has a 14.1" screen, which uses TruBrite Screen Technology. This display is ideal for watching DVD movies on the go, which the notebook makes possible through its double layer DVD+/-RW SuperMulti Drive. This drive can play, write, or rewrite both CDs and DVDs at very high speeds. The notebook also has a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 video chipset, so there are no lagging graphics.

The M105-S3004 provides wireless connectivity through an integrated Wireless LAN connection, which supports 802.11a, b, and g. The M105-S3004 offers several card readers, including slots for a Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Secure Digital(SD)/MMC, xD-Picture Card, and a Type II / Type I CardBus slot. To handle pictures and video, the M105-S3004 runs Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Media Center gives its users full control over their media, whether its editing, printing, or storing pictures, videos, and music.

At a respectable weight of five and a half pounds, the Toshiba Satellite M105-S3004, with its bright display, strong performance capabilities, and multimedia capabilities, is a good choice for any notebook user looking for a new portable toy to try out.
