If you are looking for an ultra portable notebook that doesn't leave out anything when it comes to functionalities, Fujitsu P7010 is the choice to go for.

The fact that P7010 is very light, just about 3.27 lbs and yet doesn't compromise on its features, makes it a hot cake in the mobile professionals and technology enthusiasts marketplace. It boasts of an Intel Pentium M ULV 753 Processor that has 1.2 GHz clock speed, 2MB of L2 cache and a 400 MHz Front Side Bus. The Pentium M Ultra Low Voltage processor requires minimum electric power to operate and hence the standard 6-cell Lithium Ion battery can last 7 hours in an ideal situation.

The screen is 10.6" wide-aspect with Crystal view XGA LCD display. It has a native resolution of 1280 by 768 pixels with a contrast ratio of 150:1. You'll have no problem viewing the screen even in bright sunlight.

Small and crowded keyboard, that's perhaps the only problem with this notebook. To make up for ultra portable's small form factor, a few keys are reduced to half width - in particular the comma and period keys; spacebar is also short of width.

With excellent use of biometric technology, you no longer need to remember a long list of passwords to access your OS and other applications. Simply swipe your finger across the built-in fingerprint sensor and access is granted. Though some practice is required running your finger in an exactly perpendicular motion down the reader.

As mentioned above, the ultra portable is fully featured and this is well evident from the wide array of ports and expansion slots available. It is equipped with two USB 2.0 ports, a four-pin FireWire, an S-Video, port for external monitor as well as dedicated slots for Memory Stick PRO/SD and Compact Flash Cards.

Swapping the combo drive with modular bay battery will give you an extra 3 hours of rock solid computing performance. So stay tuned to the entertainment functionalities or work as if you are on your desk. P7010 caters for all kinds of computing needs.

P7010 LifeBook comes with 256MB DDR333 RAM as minimum. Upgrades are available for a maximum of 1GB.
