Fujitsu LifeBook C1320D
Notebook Reviews > Fujitsu LifeBook > C1320D

The Lifebook C1320D laptop computer was designed for the business person that is in need of a portable and high powered notebook for life that resides in the fast lane. This model is only the first in a series of high powered laptops by this company, all of which have a whole host of features that are sure to please. This unit is the mid range piece that fits nicely in between its siblings and is also a great deal. The overall comparison is no competition between the many models but that does nothing to drag down the good name of this model.

The price on this unit is slightly higher than some would like but it is still very affordable. Ranking under two thousand dollars is quite the accomplishment for a quality laptop and that is exactly what the company managed to do. There is little room for error in this business and there seems to be only a few things that could have been done a bit differently if one gives it any thought.

The RAM that is featured with this model is sufficient at 512mb, but the company would have served better to move it all the way up to 1 gig. There is an available $40 upgrade but that is not really necessary unless you are planning on using some of the higher RAM hungry programs. At 512mb there is more than enough room to move and it is certainly capable of making the grade for the business person that it was designed for.

There is an Intel 2 GHz processor nestled inside the just over six ounce case. This makes for some blazing speeds on nearly every program and can even handle the occasional MP3 for those much need breaks from the grind. This has made it one of the more powerful business notebooks on the market and has also made it highly popular. There is more than enough room to work with this model.

There is something that they failed with and that is the failure to use the Intel wireless card. This has dropped the battery power terribly and you will find that you have nearly an hour less of juice than you would with the other brands that use the Intel.

All in all, this model does make the grade and should make a fine addition to any office.
