The technical specifications for Dell Latitude D410 are:

Latitude D410, a smart laptop has a display screen of 12.1" XGA Active Matrix (TFT) with 16.7 million colors support. If the machine is connected to an external monitor, it supports the 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution.

The Latitude D410 has the latest Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900. The GMA 900 Graphics delivers better performance and results than the previous graphics cards. GMA 900 chipsets share graphics and system memory, dynamically allocating the system memory to the graphics according to the applications opened currently. The GMA 900 has brought up the fastest integrated graphics cores ever available. The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 supports two independent displays that are mostly required by the financial, educational and other working industries.

An Integrated audio system, Audio type/controller: AC97 (Soft Audio) gives great results. Coming to the speakers, optionally it has two Dell A215 stereo speakers. Latitude also supports the:

Latitude D410 MediaBase has well-built security and protection. The system offers password security for the Primary system, Administrator and Hard drive. The other security solutions for Latitude D410 Media Base are listed below:
  • It has a Cable Lock Slot to secure the system and docking solutions.
  • It consists of Integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.1b to hold the computer generated keys for encryption.
  • An Integrated Smart Card Reader provides double factor standard user authentication.
  • There are optional Smart Card Security Softwares i.e. OtaniumSuite Pro and OtaniumSuite PKI.
  • You can have TPM Security Software installed.
The Latitude D410 Media Base has plenty of wireless communications. It has an integrated 56K modem and 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN. You can also attach optional Dell TrueMobile 5100 GPRS PC Card and Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Module.
