Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000
Notebook Reviews > Accessories > Laser Mouse 7000

Review Date: 25 Oct' 2007

The Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 gets itself listed in the middling class. The not so great, not so bad, wireless mouse exhibits mixed features of notebook as well as desktop mice.

The good parts about the Laser Mouse 7000 are that it has two thumb buttons and a nice easy to use four way scroll wheel, features normally associated with desktop mice only. Although, there is no dedicated power button but it comes with a system where the USB receiver will snap into the base of your mouse to power it off. It also has a design that is comfortable for both left-handed and right-handed people alike.

Unfortunately it's the size of Notebook Laser Mouse 7000, that won't let many people benefit from the great features mentioned above. Many would prefer to go with a standard sized notebook mouse because it is not much smaller.

Also, even though the USB receiver will snap into the base, it does not always sit flush. This is something design team should have really though of, as it makes keeping the slightly bigger mouse in your laptop bag an even harder task
.

Overall, it is a pretty decent mouse, but not really sized to be a notebook mouse.
